Phillips Truss Head Machine Screws are screws with a machine thread for a tapped hole or to accept a nut. Truss head machine screws have a lower profile and a wider head than a pan head screw.  Made of 18-8 Stainless Steel (18% Chromium, 8 % Nickel).  For use in marine and corrosive environments. To measure the length of a truss head screw measure from the flat part of the head to the bottom of the threads.
